June 30~Summer Beauty

This morning Jolene looked so pretty in her

floral dress I had to get her picture

among the daisies. 

June 28~Finished Project

Just like I thought, Jolene finished her

cross stitch project in a day!

She loves it!  She has already picked out

her next project.  

June 27~Cross Stitching

While Raychel was at girls camp Jolene wanted

to learn how to cross stitch. 

She has picked it up so fast, she has really enjoyed

working on her project. 

June 26~Girls Camp

Raychel is heading out to her 3rd year of Girls Camp.

She was so excited!  Jolene was already missing her

as we headed down to drop her off.  It will be a long

4 days for all of us without her.  

June 25~ Berry Smoothie

I love a good smoothie!

June 24~Flowers

The flower bed in the front yard is doing great!

I love all my daisies throughout the garden,

daisies make me smile. 

June 23~Moonlight

 

What an amazing sight! 

Tonight was the biggest and brightest

moon ever!  It was so beautiful.

They girls and friends slept outside again

and said the moon was better then a

night light. 

June 22~Jolene and Mom

 

  While we were waiting on Raychel to head out to the golf course,

I had to get a few pictures of Jolene in her new sunhat by the flowers.  After I took

a few pictures of her I had to get one of us together. 

I just love this young lady!!

June 21~Flowers

 

While my parents were here the girls painted the

old pots white and then we were going to plant flowers in them.

We ended up being busy and didn't get around to planting them

until today.  They look so beautiful, they add so much to the

back patio.  Jolene is pretty proud of  her new pot.

June 20~Tent Sleepovers

Summer brings lots of  outdoor fun.

The girls had a tent sleepover in the

backyard.  They had so much fun, and

look forward to many for backyard sleepovers.

June 19~Saying Good-bye

Today was the day to say good~bye.

It is never easy.  My parents came for about

two weeks to spend time with us.  It is a sacrifice

we greatly appreciate.  The time they spend here

will never be forgotten, memories are made to

last until we meet again. 

June 18~Naptime

I guess this picture says we tired my parents out,

they both needed a nap.  I hope that means

their trip was a success. 

June 17~Baptism Towel

Another niece is getting baptized in Washington.

I wish we could be there, and I know my niece

doesn't know me very well, but I want her to know

that I love her and we support her choice to be baptized.

I hope she loves her towel and knows it was made from

me just for her.

June 16~Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!

I couldn't have asked for a better father

for our girls.  I love this man more then......

This year my parents were also in town for a

couple of weeks so we were able to spend the day with

my wonderful dad as well. 

June 15~Happy Birthday

 

Ward and I were up hours before anyone else

so we went out to breakfast for his birthday.

Early in the month Jolene sold her bike

and used the money toward her new bike.  She

was pretty excited. After everyone was

up and ready do go, we headed to out of town

for a nice dinner to celebrate Ward's birthday, 

June 14~Local Fire

 

Ward and my dad went golfing this morning.  It was a

pretty hot day, so when they got home the girls and I

went with them to get a cold limeade to cool off then

 headed out to check out where the smoke was coming

from we could see from the house.

  The area behind the Gap was on fire. 

We could see flames from where we

were parked.  

June 13~Great Find

 

The girls, mom and I went out looking at the consignment shop for

a chair to go with the vanity we made for Raychel.  We found the

chair, it is green and needs some love, but while we were there

I feel in the love with this wicker rocking chair I didn't know

I needed!  I called Ward and explained how much I needed it on the

back patio, and ended up bringing it home. 

I love it!!

June 12~Mountain Fun

 

We took a KFC picnic to the mountain to spend the afternoon.

It was a wonderful day.  The weather couldn't have been
better.  It has been so hot, but in the mountains it was much

cooler.  After our picnic the girls got in the creek first wading

and then before long they were up to their neck in the water.
It was so much fun, relaxing, and enjoyable to be out. 

June 11~Puzzle Time

My dad enjoys doing puzzles and lately

the girls have gotten into doing puzzles as well,

but mostly Jolene.  Jolene asked my dad to

help her finish the one her and Raychel started

before they came. Both of them have enjoyed

working on this puzzle throughout the day.  

June 10~Morning Walk

 

The girls and I enjoy getting up early and going on a nice

long walk to start the day.  The view from this

mornings walk was beautiful.  It makes getting up

so worth it. 

June 9~Sunday Photo

 

They are so beautiful. 

Raychel had earned money by baby sitting as

well as her birthday so we went shopping on Friday. 

We had so much fun just us girls. 

I had to get a picture of my beauties, and Raychel

in her new outfit she bought with her own money.

June 8~Entryway

 

I love our entryway.  As you walk it our home

you can tell right away what we value. 

When we were in Utah I took a picture of the

Salt Lake Temple that I love.  I had it

enlarged, found a beautiful frame and hung it

in our entry way to go with all the other

pictures that make me happy. 

June 7~ Feeling Blue

The girls have wanted to re due their bathroom

so this week we did it.  The color choice was blue.

It is coming along really well.  More pictures when

we finish our project.



June 6~Morning Walk

 

 

On our morning walk we discovered this really cool tree stump. 

The center part looks like a heart. I would have walked

right past it if it hadn't been for the girls.  They seem

 to notice the things I look over.  I love this time together.



June 5~Poppy

 

I am in love with Poppies this year, they are so beautiful. 

The petals are so thin and delicate.  I love how

bright and happy they look.  I can't wait until

there are many more in the garden.

June 4~Star Gazing

The girls had the parent camp meeting tonight. 

Raychel invited Hannah to attend camp so her dad

came for the meeting,  while the girls finished up at the church

Jon and Novely visited at the house.

The little girls laid on the grass

and enjoyed watching the stars since

 it was getting so late.

June 3~Lawn Helper

 

Jolene has always been by little yard helper. She loves

working with me in the flower beds and now she is excited to learn to mow

the lawn.  She has asked a couple of times and I can't think of why not. 

So I taught her how and she did great and was so proud of the lawn when she

 was finished. 

June 2~Eagle Court of Honor

What a proud moment.

Collin received his Eagle Scout award tonight.

It was nice to be there with the family.

After the ceremony we went to

Sterling's for the evening.

It was nice to stay and visit, laugh and

 catch up as family .

June 1~Collin Graduation

 

Another cousin graduated today.

It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day to

sit and watch Collin graduate.

Most of Christine's family was in town for the

big event.  It was nice to see everyone and

spend time together.
