We had our own little Thanksgiving

dinner tonight. 

I love the way the our home smells

while everything is cooking

Just like every year the day after Thanksgiving the

Christimas tree goes up.  I love the feeling the

home has once the tree is up.

It's magical.

November 28~Thanksgiving

 

What a wonderful day.

We were able to spend it with

family and even took
Emily home with us for

the night.  The girls
all has so much fun together.


 

November 27~Grateful

 

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!

My favorite holiday.

It is the only holiday we have to just

reflect on what we have. 

So much to be grateful for.

November 23~Hunting

 

Jolene gets so excited to go hunting with Ward and Drake.

I love helping her get ready, making hot cocoa, packing

their favorite snakes, and getting all bundled up.

Then to wait for her to come home and hear her

version of their adventure.

Priceless.

November 21~Day Out

Jolene had an orthodontics appointment today,

when we finished we did  little shopping. 

She fell in love with this cute earring/necklace holder, but

didn't love the color. 

I love the changes you can make with spray paint.

November 20~Fog

 

What an amazing morning. 

The fog looks so beautiful as it came

through the valley.  

November 19~The Temple

I couldn't help but add one more

Temple picture.  It was a beautiful day to

be outside walking around the temple taking

wonderful pictures with the family.  

November 18~Family

 A few of  Grandma Maude's grandchildren and her own daughter, Bonnie.

Today was bittersweet.

Grandma Maude was laid to rest. 

She was 98. 

She left this earth and many behind,

but she was reunited with her husband,

and three of her 4 children. 

Before the service we were able to

get some great family photos around the

Temple.

Families are Eternal.

November 17~Road Trip

A sad reason to get together with family, a funeral.

We have had a wonderful time.

Reconnecting, hearing old and new stories and

meeting family for the first time.



November 16~Love

 

Do you ever have one of those

days where you think your heart might

burst with so much love?

We learned Ward's grandmother who was 98

passed away.  We are headed to the funeral this weekend

to spend it with his family. 

I love this man and the compassion he has for

others, I love our girls and how they

know when to make us laugh.

November 12~Happy Birthday

 

What a great day.

I spent over half of it at the church

helping decorate for Young Women's In Excellence.

Took Raychel to the orthodontics, back to the church,

took Raychel home, picked up Jolene, changed clothes,

back to the church for a great evening honoring our

amazing young women.  By the time we got home

after 9pm I was exhausted and it is my birthday.

When I walked in the door, sitting on the counter as

not to be missed was this gorgeous bouquet of roses,

from the most amazing husband for my birthday.

I am so in love with him!!  He gives me more reasons

everyday to  love him even more then the day before.



November 11~Veteran's Day

 

The High School had a very nice

Veteran's Assembly this year.

The choir sang, they had local

Veteran's there to honor, some students spoke,

and the band played. 

So proud to be an American and so

grateful to those how have fought for

our freedoms. 



November 10~A Day Out

 

 

What a gorgeous day. 

It started with our two beautiful girls all dressed

 up alike for church.  Attending church as a family

 is one of the greatest joys of the day. 

Because the day was so beautiful and they

are quickly coming to an end we headed out to the pond

for some extra family time. 

The views were amazing,

I couldn't get enough pictures of the area. 

I love photography.  

November 9~Thankful Thoughts

I love this time of year.

So much to be thankful for.

I have so much to be grateful for,

so many blessings.

November 8~Two Cute Bags

They did it!!  The girls had a great time

making their own bags.  They turned out

really cute.  They are so proud of their work.

Jolene is ready to make more, lots more!!

November 7~Sewing Project

 

Jolene loves to sew.  She wanted to

make a bag for awhile now, so here it goes.

She said she loves to see it all

come together from material to

something she can use. 

Can't wait to see the finished bag.

November 6~Pansy

 

These beautiful little flowers

are still holding on.  The temperatures

have dropped to freezing, but these little

pansies in Jolene's flower pot
continue to do really well.  

November 5~Straight 'A' Kid

Jolene made the principal honor roll,

We couldn't be prouder of Jolene.

She has worked hard her first

semester of middle school.

Love her!!!

November 4~Something New

 

I did it!  I made Raychel a new skirt, which I have

made several, but this one has a zipper!!

My very first zipper and it turned out

better then I thought it would.

And the best thing is, she loves her

skirt!!

November 3~The Last Rose

 

 There was a light dusting of snow this morning.

I was so happy to see one last

rose in the garden. 

I already miss Summer.



November 2~Fun Hunt

 

Ward, Drake and Tim went out

today for a great hunt. 

They had a good time, success and

the weather was gorgeous.
